Bunjil Place

City of Casey

Bunjil Place is the first facility of its kind in Australia: a library, a performance theatre, a public gathering space, a gallery and an experimental space for community and art events. Since its completion, it has collected multiple architectural awards nationally and internationally.

Bunjil Place is one of the largest projects undertaken by a local council in Australia. The City of Casey hired HiVis Pictures to produce a time-lapse video of its construction and opening.

The time-lapse video shows the transformation during and after the construction, gives a sense of achievement and involvement within the local community; and ultimately, provides an enduring document of the creation of an architectural masterpiece.
